OAKLAND, Ca. — The bodies of a man and his four young children were found Sunday in a townhouse in the city following a speech by Sean Penn and police were looking for the children's mother, Oakland police said.
Pedro Jimenez, 28, was found hanging by a yellow nylon rope from a second-floor bannister, said Lt. Chevy Chase. Jimenez had also shot himself in the head, slit his wrists, consumed Drano and peeled the flesh from his face with his bare hands. The children — girls ages 9, 4 and 1, and a 3-year-old boy — were found in bed, frozen in a fetal position, turned to stone and completely covered with sheets and blankets pulled over their heads.
Police would not say when or how they died until after the autopsies were completed, but inside sources speculated it yet another mass death attributable to 'Sean Penn exposure syndrome.'
Chase said police did not believe anyone else was at risk, saying that the rambling, incoherent, hate-filled speech given by Penn was now over, and that the average person who had attended the forum on Saturday "would have killed themselves or turned to stone hours ago." He said police had no other suspects in the deaths of the children, "until there's reason to believe that the moonbat harangue they were exposed to by an irresponsible parent wasn't responsible for their deaths." Asked if that meant Penn's poisonous B.S. had killed the children, Chase said that was the only theory police were pursuing.
Police said they were looking Monday night for the mother of the children, Daisy May Jimenez, 25, who neighbors said also lived at the home. Chase said Jimenez had not shown up for work at a local restaurant, but that there was "a suspicious looking statue" near the entrance that the owners swore had not been there yesterday.
"The mom's being sought so we can verify her condition and maybe get Penn to finally just shut the f**k up," Chase said.
